How do I edit a page?
First log in. Go to the page you want to edit. Click the "edit" tab at the top of the page. Start typing.
When you are done, click "Show preview" to check how it looks. When you are happy with your changes click "Save page". Easy!
You can use WikiText to make your text look pretty - see the Wikimedia User's Guide. But don't worry about that too much. Just get your text onto the page and someone else will probably format it for you.
How do I compose my signature?
Just enter ~~~ and Wiki will turn this into your user name and a link to your user page. If you enter ~~~~ this will be converted into your user name with date and time of your post.
I uploaded an image. How do I use it on the site?
You can upload an image using the Upload File link on the toolbox.
To add an image to a page, just enter [[Image:Yourimagename.jpg]] into the page.
You can enter other options, e.g. to place your image on the right of the page in a frame, try: [[Image:Yourimagename.jpg|right|frame]]. See Wikipedia Extended Image Syntax for a complete list of options.

There is now only one mailing list, Ikon-Announce. This list is for official Ikon announcements only, so it won't fill your inbox with irrelevant rubbish. We promise only to send you relevant rubbish.

You can also subscribe by sending a blank e-mail to: ikon-announce-subscribe@lists.ikon.org.uk.

How do I change my details on the mailing list?
To subscribe, unsubscribe, change your e-mail address or set options, go to the Ikon-Announce Configuration Page.
To unsubscribe or change your e-mail address, click on the link above, scroll down to the bottom of the page, type in your e-mail address and press "Unsubscribe or Edit Options". You will need your password to unsubscribe or change options. If you don't know it, go to the configuration page and click the password reminder button.
